Tires slashed of 30 cars in Jerusalem, 700 saplings uprooted in village of Turmus Ayya

Israelis believed to be members of Price Tag terror group Wednesday slashed tires of 30 cars belonging to Palestinians in the suburb of Beit Safafa, south of Jerusalem, and sprayed anti-Arab graffiti on walls, according to a local resident. Ismail Awad, one of those affected by the vandalism, said residents discovered the slashed tires and graffiti in the morning.

Israeli settlers uprooted Wednesday more than 700 olive seedlings from land near the village of Turmus Ayya to the north of Ramallah, according to a local source.Awad Abu Samra, a resident of Turmus Ayya, told WAFA that landowners discovered the vandalism when they got to the land. He said settlers from a nearby settlement uprooted the newly planted seedlings and stole them. He said the farmers found an identity card for one of the settlers on the site. This is the second assault on village land in less than 20 days when settlers uprooted more than 450 olive seedlings that were planted as part of a Palestinian Ministry of Agricultural land reclamation project.
Israeli settlers Wednesday attacked a 50-year-old Palestinian in the village of burin, south of Nablus, according to a local source. Ghassan Daghlas, who monitors settlement activities in the north of the West Bank, told WAFA that a group of settlers from the Yetzahar settlement, built illegally on the village land, severely beat Mohammad al-Zain, 50, causing him several bruises throughout his body.
